I've decided to take requests for drawings of people's original characters. I've just got a few guidelines, however:

1. The character must NOT be a Mary Sue or Gary Stu unless this character is a spoof of one of the two.

2. The character must be an original, fan-created character or a character created for an original piece of fiction. I do not draw canon characters on request unless I have promised them.

3. I don't draw anything explicit, so if you have a couple of slashy originals or amorous originals they won't be doing anything overly-exciting. The furthest I will go with this is making out.

...other than that, I believe that's it. So we're all set here. I'm ready and open for business!

EDIT 2: I have mentioned above that I do not draw canon characters...well, I am making the Tolkien and Sharpe canons the only exceptions. If you want a character drawn from the Tolkien or Sharpe books or movies, I'll do it without thinking twice.

EDIT 3: Those of you who have drawn artwork relating to SOFT - your efforts have not been forgotten! I am writing bios for the characters in Surviving SOFT and Surviving SOFT: The Tolkien Campaign, and I have been linking to artwork of the characters. While most of it is my own, all images of the characters drawn by someone other than myself have been linked to. I have included the artists' names/handles in the links, so don't worry about not getting credit for your work!

MAJOR EDIT: I have started actually writing Londinium, and I need help from everyone who reads this. I am going to make a copy of the manuscript on a self-publishing machine to send to an editor when it is done, but I don't have an official cover design. I am going to hold a contest to design the Londinium cover (if you have any questions about the characters or storyline feel free to drop me a note in my inbox - I'll be more than happy to fill you in).

The official starting date - well, whenever you read this, unless you read it after July 31st, which is when I will be ending the contest and determining which design I like best for the novel's initial cover. (If I like it enough I may even keep it for the final published book jacket...with copyrights to its artist listed within, naturally.) Have fun and good luck!
